Clancy Martin

Clancy Martin is a philosopher, novelist, professor, Guggenheim Fellow, and essayist. Martin has authored and edited more than a dozen books in philosophy and has written more than a hundred articles and essays on Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Romanticism, and the virtue of truthfulness. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, The New Republic, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The London Review of Books, The Atlantic, and many other newspapers, magazines and journals, and has been translated into more than thirty languages. He's also translated works of Nietzsche and Kierkegaard from German and Danish, including a complete translation of Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
